I'm Tracy, the Founder & CEO of House of Divinity (HOD) and the Host and Creator of the Mindful Moments Podcast.
My mission is to inspire others to embrace the present and explore the richness of life. I'm dedicated to using my gifts and talents to support others on their journey of personal exploration.
At HOD, I lead a platform focused on self-exploration and discovery. We offer resources, workshops, creative projects, and an engaging online community to help people explore their paths.
As the Creator and Host of the Mindful Moments Podcast, I share practical advice and real-life stories about mindfulness, meditation, and being grounded in the present moment. Each episode offers insights and tools for living in the now, without seeking external validation.
I live south of St. Louis, Missouri, on 4.5 acres of woods with my husband, Calder, and our two dogs, Buckles (a Basset Hound Pit Bull mix) and Dax (an Aussie Doodle). I love being outside in nature, spending time with my family, and working on various creative projects. Whether it's creating jewelry, styling clothes, or doing house projects, I thrive on creativity and bringing beauty into the world.
In addition to HOD and the podcast, I have extensive experience in sales, social services, and community development, allowing me to bring a well-rounded approach to every project.
My journey has been marked by a commitment to creativity, community service, and impactful social initiatives. These experiences include creating safe spaces for young people, driving healthcare innovation, fostering global partnerships, and advocating for social change. Each project has allowed me to connect with others, challenge assumptions, and promote unity and self-expression. Together, these pathways highlight the dynamic and impactful journey that has shaped who I am today and continues to inspire my purpose and passion at House of Divinity.
So you made it this far, eh? You just went on reading, totally ignoring the TLDR signs? I guess that means you wanna hear the long version, amirite? Welp, since you asked for it...
Let me tell you about my journey - a mix of creativity, mindfulness, and lots of adventure. It all started back in Peoria, IL - though STL raised me, Florissant, Missouri, to be exact. Those years really set the stage for what came next..
In high school, I was all over the place, but in a good way! I did sports like volleyball, cheerleading, and even rugby. I love being active and part of a team. But it wasn't just sports; I also played the clarinet in the concert band and dabbled in theater. Playing Veruca Salt in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" was a highlight for sure. Oh, and giving the graduation speech? That was nerve-wracking but such an honor.
After high school, I headed to Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri, from 2008 to 2010. I got an academic scholarship and worked at the Early Childhood Development Center as an Assistant Teacher. That really fueled my passion for education. Being part of the Honors College and Phi Theta Kappa were big deals for me too. And let's not forget the theater and I kept that going with a play in 2009.
Then, off to Mizzou, where I studied Political Science, Psychology, and Multicultural Studies. I was rowing crew and helping international students with their English. Graduating in 2013 was a big moment; all those service projects and my capstone felt like a big achievement.
After college, I did an internship with Columbia's Youth in Action program, helping out in the community. And then came AmeriCorps VISTA in Hawaii, focusing on youth and poverty issues, and lemme tell ya, it was eye-opening.
Back in St. Louis in 2014, I started at Employment Connection, guiding young adults in their careers. Then I was off to Florida in 2015, working at PACE Center for Girls, where I really connected with the students. Austin, Texas, brought me to EngenderHealth in 2017, working on sexual and reproductive health programs. It was challenging but so rewarding.
By 2020, I was at CareHarmony, helping seniors navigate their healthcare needs. which was tough but fulfilling work.
Then came August 2023... dun dun duuun and that's when I started House of Divinity. It's been an incredible journey, bringing together creativity and mindfulness to help others discover themselves.
And just this year, I launched the Mindful Moments Podcast. As the host, I get to share stories and tips about mindfulness and self-discovery. It's been amazing to connect with listeners who are on their own journeys of growth.
So yeah, that's my journey so far! A beautiful blend of different experiences that have shaped who I am today. Always learning, always growing, and always looking for new ways to make a positive impact.
