Everything we do at House of Divinity starts with intention. Our work is grounded in eight core principles that I've learned are essential for true alignment. These themes guide every partnership, project, and collaboration. As you explore them, see what resonates. If you find yourself nodding along, we may be a solid match. You can learn more about my journey here. When you're ready, I invite you to reach out and explore what we can co-create together.
We start every project, session, and collaboration by focusing on immediate reality. Attention is directed to what is present in the room, group, or individual. This establishes clarity around current needs, opportunities, and context, ensuring that all further action is grounded in what is relevant right now.
What is the first detail or dynamic you notice in this setting?
Intentional breathing is used as a physiological and psychological tool to reset, center, or transition. Pausing to breathe shifts group energy and enhances self-regulation, supporting clear thinking before and after key moments. Breath acts as a practical mechanism to return to focus or create mental space on demand.
Where is tension held in your body, and how does it shift as you breathe with intention?
We encourage ongoing self-assessment and internal inquiry. Each person is supported to notice personal insights, discomforts, and priorities without external pressure to disclose. This practice builds agency and autonomy, allowing for informed action.
What thought, feeling, or priority is surfacing for your attention now?
Divergent thinking and original contributions are actively solicited. People are prompted to share perspectives, identify unspoken tensions, and propose alternatives. This approach is structured to disrupt groupthink and encourage innovative, actionable input that drives outcomes forward.
What idea, question, or observation has not yet been introduced?
Nature is incorporated as an experiential and conceptual collaborator. The use of outdoor environments, natural materials, and ecological observation is integral to our process. These elements stimulate new perspectives and keep discussions grounded in observable reality.
How does an element in nature mirror or inform the situation you’re experiencing?
We help identify patterns, beliefs, or practices that are no longer adaptive. The process is oriented toward active discernment: choosing what to retain and what to release in order to free up cognitive and emotional energy for current priorities.
What belief or routine are you ready to set down to make space for new possibilities?
The process begins by mapping existing strengths, resources, and networks. Emphasis is placed on recognizing and leveraging assets that are already available, which shifts the focus from scarcity to possibility and catalyzes creative problem-solving with what is at hand.
Which resource, skill, or connection could be leveraged to advance your goals today?
Consistent recognition and appreciation are foundational to the HOD culture. Contributions are explicitly acknowledged, and gratitude is expressed in concrete ways to reinforce motivation and cohesion. This environment is intentionally structured to sustain positive momentum and ensure everyone feels valued.
Who merits acknowledgement for their presence or effort in this space?
